**Shepherd's home**
Rite now, I'm in my shep's house. Wow! First time go his house man and he make me eat 1 of my most hatred fruit-Watermelon!! BIG ONES somemore. haha.. Anw, his room is also very cosy (anti-climax.. HAha) and I'm not the 1st to say that, but the 7th person to say that his room is cosy. -_-:: Lame rite!?! Also, we watched Sharks' tale (on DVD). Really enjoyed his company and hospitality. Speaking of which, he fed me with an overnight noodle.. haha.. ok.. Let's get down to serious business.
Anw, Water baptism is coming, on Apr 10 (i think). Like what Tony(from 3rd svc) said, water baptism is not just about getting wet; but really being convicted about this Lord that we're serving. Water baptism is one way to proclaim the Lord's name. Therefore, I encourage those who are choosing a name, to obtain it from the bible; or at least has a biblical meaning. Choosing a name does not only mean giving urself a new name but really yearning to follow the person. For me, personally, I chose Job. Why?? Because I'm inspired by his perservering spirit and his commitment to God (that he made a covenant with God not to not lustfully with his eyes). I want to be like Job who perserve even with painful sores and boils in his whole body. And I get reminded of this persevering spirit whenever people call my name "Job".
Guys can choose common names like Peter, Paul, or David. Though the name might be common, it does not prove to be lousy. If you want, you can even choose Bartimaeus (just kiddin. Haha..).
Girls can also choose names from the bible, though it is limited. Rebecca, Sarah or Mary can also be picked other than Ruth or Esther.
My meaning is not to choose a name that is meaningless. Choose a name that can constantly remind you to grow and change. Grace, joy or even faith can also chosen.
